Dr. Torstrup-Nahay graduated from Bishop Hafey High School in 1980, Pennsylvania State University in 1984, and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988.
In 1988, she took a position at the Mid-Hudson and Arlington Animal Hospitals. in 1991, she moved back to Pennsylvania and worked at the Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono.
In 1993, she started the Northeast Mobile Veterinary Clinic, serving the Freeland, and Hazleton areas. In 1995, the Northeast Animal Hospital was started, on Green St. in Freeland.
Dr. Torstrup-Nahay, also know as Dr. Deb is married and has twin boys, a daughter, 2 cats and 1 dog.
